Existentialism means no meaning in life except your parents gave birth to you. It is typically focused on individual human lives and the poignant inevitability of suffering and choice for each individual. There are nine themes in existentialism:

Astrolabe is used for to tell the time in the 13th century. They are really expensive. Astrolabes help us to connect with the night sky. There are different types of astrolabes that have been made in different sizes. They are attractive. Geoffery Chaucer was the  person wrote an instruction manuel for astrolabe. if you want to use the astrolabe to know the time there are five different steps that you have to use.
1. select a star.
2. measure the altitude.
3. identify the star infront of the device.
4.move the retes to set the star altitude. 5.move the rule to a date line which then tells the time.
  

Memorizing shakesperaean monologues was very hard for me. It took me almost 2 hours. It is so hard for me to sit around other people and to memorize something. I like to memorize or studying for tests in the morning.  I think I will help you to remember things that you learn. When I try to memorize or learn something I will probably go sit somewhere  calm and quiet. No people around. That work's for me. Memorizing things are very hard.

The oration of dignith of man was talking about the human creature."there is nothing to see more winderful than man!"  man with the ablilty to choose the destiny and anything around this earth. Man has the first place. Money makes man wealth. All creatures result worthy of the highest admiration and earninh his rank on the chain. I think David Byrne was right. most of the musics are made that also suited for the environment too. The ted talk that we watched yesterday david bryne showed some african classical music using druma and the music was played outdoor.Because it is better environment to play and also with a lot.of things going around. It is also easy to draw people's attention. For example calm thrilling reansannice music can be played buildings like Villa Rotunda. Because I think for a large buliding like Villa Rotunda calm musics are suitable for that environment.

In the kingdom of heaven after killing the priest bailen saw his dad  and  asked is it true if I go to jerusalem my sin and my wifes sin will be forgiven. It was a good movie and I think it was a true story. After you making a mistake it can be forgiven if you apologize or do something . Bailen also believed that if he would go to his place jerusalem his sins will be forgiven.Pope urban said," if you go fight, you will have your sins forgiven.

This week we talked about 3 differebt religions. Judaism,  Christianity and Islam.  Passover is Jewish feast of unleavened bread. Yom kippur is the day of atonement most important holiday.  Jewish newyear is called Rosh-Hashanah. Then we learned about Christianity.  Christianity is a movement within Judaism. Constantinople created leagalized christianity because his mother was a christian and the vision that he saw told him to put cross on shield and win war. Then we learned about Islam. Islam began with Muhammad.  He was a camel driver. Islamic followers were called Muslims. Islam religion have 5 pillars that they have to follow. 
●1 universal god.
●Pray 5 times daily facing mecca.
●Pay yearly tax for poor and needy
●Fast from sunrise to sundown during month of Ramadan.
●Make a pilgrimage to mecca at least once in a lifetime.

            This week we talked about different types of medival gardens.  Kitchen garden this garden usually is for getting foods to cook or to sell,  cloister garden is used for meditation, pleasure garden its for people who is rich, medicinal garden ita used for medicines for cure. People have worked really hard for all of this garden to make it beautiful and make it successful.

Women in ancient Rome had limited public role so they could not vote or hold political office. Womens are named less than men. Lucretia and claudia quinta were the two womens who left a mark on history.

                We learned about aeneid. He go to under world to see his dad and other dead people in the underworld. Sybil the prophet, helped him to reach the underworld.
                I think its kind of weird when aeneid go to the underworld to see his future and the dead people.
